Below you will find a couple of useful Tips & Tricks to get the best results from your compression sock and stockings.

Putting on and taking off compression tubes and compression stockings:

Pull the leg section of the stocking upwards evenly and distribute the stocking over the leg without creasing. Smooth out any pleats to get an optimal and perfect fit. Due to the large length stretch of the compression stocking it can happen that the stockings are pulled up too high. You must then distribute the stocking over the entire leg to 2 cm below the knee pleat. The necessary decreasing pressure gradient is guaranteed only when you do this correct. Never turn the stocking over at the top! Rubber household gloves are a handy tool to make putting on stockings easier. You will have more grip on the stockings so it can also be distributed more easily over the leg.

Putting on and taking off sports compression stockings with closed foot ends:

Turn the stockings inside out untill you reach the heel. So the foot section remains as in the initial situation. Spread the foot opening with two hands and pull the foot section over the foot to the instep, untill the heel piece fits perfectly. Then pull the leg section of the stocking upwards evenly and distribute the stocking over the leg without creasing. Smooth out any pleats to get an optimal and perfect fit. Washing compression stockings:

You can extend the duration of the compression stockings by washing them by hand or in the washing machine (with a fine wash program) at 40 degrees Celsius and using a normal delicate wash detergent. Do not use fabric softeners! After washing, thoroughly rinse the compression stockings with clean water. Do not wring or spin. Press the water out between two dry towels and let the stockings dry in the air. Do not expose the stockings to direct heating (radiators, sunlight and so forth). Do not use a dryer. Do not iron. And do not clean chemically.

Save compression stockings:

For optimum results, the sports compression socks must be stored in a dry and dark place and at room temperature.

Other tips:

Make sure your shoes are not damaged on the inside. A broken shoe lining increases friction and can cause damage to the stockings. The sports compression stockings are highly resistant to skin oils, ointments, skin moisture and other environmental influences. In different combinations, however, they can adversely affect the service life.
